Reef Cove Resort – Overview of the Development

The planned development will cover 40.6 hectares along the coastline of the 120.5 ha property.  Its coastal boundaries lie just a few metres from the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.  The proposed development, shown here (LINKS TO FIGURES 7 AND 8), comprises:

• 123 residential allotments over 11.7 hectares
• a resort hotel
• townhouses over 2.2 hectares
• shops, etc. over 0.8 hectares, and
• the remainder set aside for future subdivision.
